Profile
Keith was Head of HR/Change Director at Bradford Council for ten years to 2001 and throughout this period he was a full member of the council's management team. During his time at Bradford, Keith operated on many national HR and public sector bodies and he became President of SOCPO (now PPMA - Public Sector People Managers' Association) in 2001/2.
He moved into consultancy in 2002 and was appointed CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Vice President for Diversity as well as being invited to join the Government's Age Advisory Group, a body set up to advise on the introduction of age discrimination legislation.
Keith operates with a number of leading UK consultancies as well as providing a bespoke service to organisations. He was elected a Chartered Companion of the CIPD in 2004.
Experience and skills
Keith has a wealth of experience on HR, Diversity and Change Management issues. He is frequently asked to judge on national HR and diversity awards and is also a contributor to the HR press. Since moving into consultancy, he has operated on a wide range of HR projects across local authorities and other public sector bodies. He provides retained advice to a number of organisations and he is in regular demand to both chair and speak at national and international HR events. His key strengths include:
